Camp Linden is located along the Brandywine near West Chester, Pennsylvania (directions). It is owned and operated by the Philadelphia Ethical Society. We partner with organizations which run summer day camps serving children from low income urban neighborhoods. Our partners bring a different group of children to Camp Linden each week-day during the camp season, and the same group returns the same weekday for six weeks. In 2015 we served over 250 children, primarily ages 7 through 12, without charge to the families or partner organizations. Our program includes gardening, nature walks, activities in the Nature Center, Native American culture, and swimming lessons, as well as free swim and free play.
